Almost everybody has seen it, and after the high-grossing film "Jurassic World" showed heroine Bryce Dallas Howard running almost the entire film in heels, many are wondering how she did it.

Bryce's role for "Jurassic World", which was produced by Steven Spielberg and grossed over $511 million worldwide in just its first weekend, was "something I wasn't necessarily prepared to do," said the actress.

Last weekend, at the film's press day in Los Angeles, Bryce said in an interview with Cinema Blend that while she had a hard time running in heels, she actually had help from UFC Champion Pete Williams, who was her driver at the time.

Williams has become popular for knocking out his opponent with the use of a head kick.

"He was so helpful, because as someone who is a professional athlete, he really knew how to take care of your body," Bryce explained. "And I was like, 'Hey man! I've got to do all this heel running, can you give me some tricks?' And he was awesome, and really helped me."

"I had these boards... I mean, I felt like I was in The Karate Kid. He had these boards that he made like a platform where I would do all this stuff," she continued. "I would put my foot on it, and then [balance and lean on one foot] and he would throw balls at me and I would catch it. I would need to like lean over and then get up and do all this stuff, and then we would do this way and that way."

Apparently, it was Howard herself who suggested to wear the 3.5-inch Sam Edelman pumps for the film. She was initially offered spray-painted platform sneakers for the running parts, according to PEOPLE.

The 34-year-old actress said that in order to prepare her feet for the role, she had to tweak her workouts and put more strength in her leg muscles.

"I just became completely fixated on having the strongest ankles imaginable," she said, adding that she used a wooden platform for the exercises and had workouts each day prior to filming.

It wasn't only the UFC champ who helped her, Bryce also had help from co-star Chris Pratt. She said they "would always stretch and do squats and push-ups" before shoots. She also said that she did runs by herself.

"But at a certain point I stopped because I was doing so much running during the day. I was like, 'This is covered,' " she said.

While the film received much success, some fans were angered for the alleged sexist role of Bryce, as her career-driven character was awarded with a boyfriend after she changed and became a loving and caring woman.

In April, the debate started after Director Joss Whedon slammed a "Jurassic Park" clip from the then soon-to-be-released film, according to The Daily Mail.

"Jurassic Park" Director Colin Trevorrow defended the clip and said during an interview with Italian website Bad Taste that while Whedon's concerns were valid, the film was actually more feminist than what was suggested by marketing. Trevorrow added that Bryce's character is the true heroine of the film.
