After making a sudden exit from his Korean pop group, EXO, Luhan has been making a name for himself in China. In fact, the former EXO member has even managed to nab a role in the upcoming Hollywood adventure film, "The Great Wall." His co-star, Matt Damon, had nothing but great things to say about the Asian star.

One out of the four films, "The Great Wall" is the first film confirmed to star Luhan. Since his exit from EXO, the former member of the pop group has been busy with a number of advertisements. His former agency on the other hand, SM Entertainment, has been busy with the lawsuit against him.

This of course has not affected Luhan. The 25-year old singer is busy focusing on filming, and as his co-star Damon would say, he has been quite "impressive" on set. Damon was also quite surprised by the number of flowers sent to Luhan on the first night of filming, which he jokingly thought were sent for him.

"It's a been a great experience," shared Damon in a report by KDramaStars, adding, "It's a little overwhelming when someone like Luhan shows up with so many fans. I think the first night where we started shooting there was something like 400 flower arrangements came to the hotel and took up the entire hallway."

"If someone hadn't told me how famous he was, I wouldn't have known from how he carries himself, which is very impressive," added Damon.

Joining Luhan in the film is Andy Lau and Willem Dafoe. Yimou Zhang is at the helm of production. Zhang is known for the films "Hero" and "House of Flying Daggers." The film is set to premiere by 2016. For now, filming has already begun. Zhang expressed his comfort and ease at the thought of the film being set in China.

"Movies that have fights against monsters from the past, present and future are all produced by Hollywood," shared Zhang in a report by ABC News. "What I have thought about is how to use this Hollywood format to express what I want to express and present the Chinese culture and make it unique."

"The Great Wall" will be produced by Universal Pictures in partnership with Legendary Entertainment, Le Vision Pictures, and China Film Company. The film is set to have $150 million in budget. Fans of Luhan certainly shouldn't miss his first Hollywood adventure film.
