In an emotional onstage confession, Mandopop singer Jane Zhang announced on Saturday that she is in a relationship for more than a decade already and now wants to settle down. The confirmation of her 12-year relationship with Show City Times CEO Feng Ke happened after she sang "Zhong Yu Deng Dao Ni" during her "Bang the World" concert in Changsha, reported China Entertainment News.

The song, whose title means "You Are Finally Here," was the main track for popular Chinese TV series "Let's Get Married." Zhang's number was an apt introduction for her longtime boyfriend, whom she asked to come up on stage if he wants to walk down the aisle with her.

"Twelve years have passed and I don't want to live alone any longer. I have thought it over. If you want to marry me, please come on stage," Shenzhen Daily quoted Zhang.

Thousands of fans, armed with glow sticks, cheered for Zhang and Feng. As he joined his girlfriend on the stage, he smiled at the crowd and said that he should be the one popping the question to Zhang. Feng then took her in his arms, and the couple shared a kiss.

"Thank you everyone. This was truly very sudden because this is something that I was supposed to do. Thank you, Jane," Toggle cited Feng.

Feng, who is 15 years Zhang's senior, became the 30-year-old singer's agent when she started in showbiz. According to Shenzhen Daily, the couple met at the bar where Zhang regularly performed in 2004.

"From the year I was 18, a man has kept my company and protected me," Zhang lovingly reminisced.

Zhang had her showbiz debut soon after she won third place in the first season of "Super Girl" in 2005. The nationwide all-girl singing competition was where her "dolphin-like" voice register was first recognized. Her 10 years in showbiz is marked with 42 best female singer awards and five best album awards. Highlights of her career include a collaboration with American rapper Big Sean in the song "Fighting Shadows," theme song of "Terminator Genisys," and a series of anniversary concerts in mainland China.
