"I don't want to be here" were the words of Nick Kyrgios after losing a point while receiving in the third set of his Davis Cup match against Aleksandr Nedovyesov of Kazakhstan.

It may have been the heat that bothered the Australian or the fact that his friend Bernard Tomic is currently dealing with authority issues in Miami, but it was definitely not a good day for Kyrgios who lost 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-2), 6-7 (5-7), 4-6 in the quarterfinal tie, making it worse for Australia who went down 0-2 after Thanasis Kokkinakis lost to Mikhail Kukushkin in the first singles match.

Kyrgios' frustrations resonated throughout the match. At one point, he slammed a ball off the court after losing a point in which he received a warning, and when the match ended, the 20-year-old smashed both his racquets.

"The position I was in out there wasn't great," Kyrgios told The Guardian. "When you've got a chance to serve out the third set and give your team a chance to level up the tie, I blew that chance which wasn't great. I didn't think I was having that much fun out there to be honest. I was struggling to find myself in the match. I couldn't get my feet set on any ball. My serve was probably the only thing I'd give a little bit of credit. I don't think I really found that balance of enjoying myself and playing some good tennis."

Despite losing both singles matches, the Aussies bounced back when the doubles pair of Sam Groth and Lleyton Hewitt defeated Andrey Golubev and Aleksandr Nedovyesov with a score of 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.

With Hewitt capitalizing on the returns and Groth hitting powerful serves, the Australians managed to win 5 out of 15 break point opportunities as opposed to 2 out of 9 from the Kazakhs.

"I haven't played too many doubles matches when we've been two-love down and under absolute pressure," Hewitt said as reported by ABC. "This is Grothy's first win in a live rubber so it's fantastic I could be out there and enjoy it with him."

To advance, Australia needs to win both reverse singles matches on Sunday and the winner will face either France or UK in the semifinals.
