The first sight of the highly anticipated smartphone Sony Xperia C5 Ultra was revealed by the Sao Paulo police from Brazil. A leaked picture indicates bezel-free display of the upcoming device.

The prototype version of the alleged flagship smartphone was secretly robbed from the Brazilian certification agency. According to GSM Arena, the accused thieves managed to break into the Anatel and stole the prototype version.

After the theft, the phone was put on sale in Facebook. The report also claimed that the related authorities were highly alerted after the incident and an undercover operation was initiated with top priority to recover the alleged device from the thieves. It is said that the team successfully managed to recover the prototype version from the thieves.

According to International Business Times, the recovery of the alleged smartphone was confirmed by the regional police department through a press conference. The recent photo that is surfing on the globe was first shown at the conference.

The purported image shown at the conference shows a device that has bezel-less design for the display. The display screen size is approximately 5.5-inch. Breathecast has reported that the Xperia C5 Ultra bears the codename of C5 Lavendar that carries 13MP rear shooter assisted by LED-flash. The 2GB of RAM unit satisfies the overall performance combined with powerful MediaTek MT6752 processor.

The new Xperia C5 will carryover the resolution from its predecessor Xperia C4 with 1080 pixels. According to GSM Arena, the camera department will bolster with 13MP front camera shooter that might be a point of attraction for the selfie lovers. The secondary camera also has the provision for LED-flash to provide quality pictures at low light.

The internal storage will allow 16GB capacity that can be expanded up to 128GB with external microSD card. The battery capacity is somehow a bit lower compared to recent smartphones available on the same price range as it will be powered by 2,930mAh battery.

The Xperia C5 will have nano-SIM slot facility. For better shooting experience and ease of use the camera option, it will have a volume acting as the zoom in or zoom out option for both the secondary and primary camera. The smartphone will be released globally next month.
