Norah Jones, a Grammy award-winning singer, has recently scooped up a 6.25 million home. The singer indeed has attained a lot in her career, and it can be seen in the home she just bought.

The home of Jones is no stranger to limelight. It is the same house that was once featured in the Julia Roberts' movie "Eat, Pray, Love" as stated in a post by Realty Today. It was previously in the market in 2004 for a pricey $8 million, but eventually, the price was lowered to $6.995 million.

The home has large exposed wood beams. It also features plank floors and a glassed-in greenhouse. According to a past post by New York Daily News, "the deal marks a return to brownstone Brooklyn for the 'Come Away with Me' crooner, who reportedly lived for a short stint at Cooper Square near Manhattan's Astor Place before selling her pad there for $6.7 million in 2013."

The home also contains a rich identity because it was a former 1840s firehouse. Throughout her career, she has won many awards and has sold more than 50 million albums. Jones was also named as the Top Jazz Artist. She ranked 60th on Billboard Magazine's artists top chart. Norah Jones has a net of worth of $25 million.

As for her personal life, it is filled with mystery. New York Daily News earlier reported that Norah Jones takes hold of her baby after performing during the annual Mother's Day tea to honor military mothers at the White House on May 12, 2014.

Jones, who is mom to a one-year-old son, wants to convert the property and turn it into a huge mansion. As for the identity of the man that fathered her son, it still remains a mystery.
