Google's Classroom Tool Launched for Educators Worldwide

Doing homework can be easier with the help of Google Classroom.

Google launched Classroom for its Apps for Education users with the aim of digitizing the flow of homework and feedback in schools. Classroom was first unveiled in May.

The latest Google tool was first used by more than 100,000 educators from more than 45 countries around the globe.

It's a portal that allows teachers to create and assign homework students can submit directly using the service.

Classroom integrates Google Docs, Drive, Slides, Sheets and Gmail to let academic instructors collect, create, review and organize the class and students work.

Through Google Classroom, teachers will be able to help the students in real-time do their homework via collaboration on Docs.

Educators can also attach files for homework from Google Drive and automatically create a copy for each student.

Every course has its own About page which shows information and materials about the class. It displays announcements and deadlines for each subject on the main page.

It contains panels on the left side for upcoming news and a class code.

Classroom is also free from ads and stored data will not be used for marketing purposes.

Google Classroom also aims to lessen stressful situations faced by both students and teachers.

It's a good move on the part of Google because they'll be getting classes of kids to sign up for Google accounts.

Classroom is only accessible to users with free Apps for Education accounts.

In able to acquire Classroom, interested parties should be working on a educational institutions and sign up using the work email address.

"You can't stay in teaching and keep going to the old ways," said Sister Rosemarie DeLoro, teacher in Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn, New York.

Google Classroom is available in 42 languages. It also works on mobiles.
