Sacramento Kings franchise center DeMarcus Cousins recently admitted that there are "in-house" issues in Sacramento that need to be addressed right away. Boogie had called for a "players-only" meeting, which prompted speculations that head coach George Karl may be one of the team's problems right now.

The Kings are currently floundering at the very bottom of the Western Conference with a 1-7 record and have lost all of their last six games. This despite an obvious retooling in their lineup, which now includes NBA champion point guard Rajon Rondo, three-point champion Marco Belinelli, and this year's sixth overall pick Willie Cauley-Stein.

Cousins still heads the team while veteran scoring machine Rudy Gay is at the wings so many people are wondering what is happening to the Kings? Why are they still reeling despite the obvious improvement of their lineup from last year's?

The Sacramento Bee reported that the 25-year-old All-Star wants to have a "players-only meeting" to try and solve what Cousins said was an "internal" concern within the Kings locker room.

"Everything I can't really speak on," he told reporters during an interview. "We got some issues that we got to carve out. Can't really speak on that. But one thing is, us players, we got to stick together. And just with that, that'll get us through most battles. We got some issues in-house we need to figure out."

He was then asked what these "issues" are and he refused to answer. Then he was queried if it was on-court and he said, "not at all" indicating that it was much deeper.

"It'll be a players-only meeting," he added, as per CSN Bay Area. "Just to make it clear I believe in every single person in this room. We just got to stay together. That part I'm not worried about. But there are issues we need to figure out."

Could he be hinting of something that involves Coach Karl? The two had publicly admitted their beef during the offseason when Karl tried to trade Boogie, but the coach reportedly had already apologized to his All-Star big man before the season began.

A positive thing to observe in this latest Kings saga is the noticeable maturity of Cousins as he was able to discern brewing problems this early in the season for his team. If he and Gay could rally the players together, then it could only turn out to be for the best of the team's future.
