Possible UFO Sighting

The live webcams deployed by NASA on the International Space Station may have recorded an unidentified flying object or UFOs moving through Earth's orbit.

The internet has been abuzz with the possible sighting of these alien spacecrafts. UFOlogist Scott Waring may have been the first to view them as he uploaded the video to his blog, UFO Sightings Daily, early last week.

The spacecraft in the videos uploaded in his blog is highlighted by a red circle, with only a white speck remaining clearly visible. The enlargement of the white speck only reveals a blur.

Waring enlarged it himself and described it as having, "A long line down the middle and a dome on its top, but is rectangle on its lower bottom."

Skeptics though have labelled the white speck as possible space junk, meteors, or satellites floating around. However, only a few days later, a similar white speck was located by a space station lens as it pulsated and floated away.

Waring described this speck as a glowing five-pointed UFO, adding that most sightings around the world share the same characterization.

The high-definition cameras of NASA that have been taking pictures from space for a decade have been a spark of interest for UFO enthusiasts.

However, these cameras were originally placed there to offer live views of Earth's forest, oceans, and cloud formations.

The components for these cameras were made by high school students in a project with NASA called HUNCH, or High Schools United with NASA to Create Hardware.

The aim of the project is to figure out how conditions in space, like high radiation, affect video quality which can help decide what kind of cameras should be used in future missions.

NASA is currently experimenting with a laser beam that is capable of transferring data to Earth that could potentially speed up the process by 10 to 100 times.
