The Chicago Bulls are anticipated to make a blockbuster trade this midseason with rumors that the team is planning to deal both Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah - the heart and soul of the Bulls' franchise for more than seven years now - at the same time to give way to the Jimmy Butler era.

Sir Charles in Charge's Michael Saenz made the suggestion, although he also clarified that it "probably won't happen" as both stars are sentimentally connected to the city and its fans.

However, Saenz said that given "the right deal and opportunity", the Bulls "should trade" Rose and Noah as the team will not be "any lesser" without both players.

With the 26-year-old 2015 NBA Most Improved Player award wniner Butler improving as each game passes and the Spanish frontcourt duo of Pau Gasol and Nikola Mirotic seamlessly working together, the Bulls may actually be better off acquiring new talents to build around their "new" Big Three than taking care of injury-prone Rose and keeping Noah happy.

Fansided's Michael Doulas reported that the Dallas Mavericks are eyeing Noah as part of their ongoing search for a difference-making center after they let go of Tyson Chandler to Phoenix after the botched De Andre Jordan's acquisition last summer.

Doulas noted that it could be a three-team deal with the Memphis Grizzlies getting Zaza Pachulia, J.J. Barea, and Justin Anderson while Courtney Lee or Tony Allen will move to Chicago.

Meanwhile, Bleacher Report indicated that the Bulls and Rose may really be heading for a divorce sooner than expected.

There are still no teams who are evidently interested in getting the 2011 MVP's services, but his impending "breakup with the Bulls" has been all over the news.

Realistically, Noah is more likely to get traded anytime from now as he had actually become an expensive bench player in Fred Hoiberg's rotation while no team is expected to accept Rose's $20 million-plus annual salary in preparation for next summer's huge salary cap increase.
