'Attack on Titan' season 2 is expected to hit the shelves in 2016, according to Christian Today.

In the first season of 'Attack on Titan' the story line focused on the first 34 chapters. This included the story of "The Fall of Shiganshina," "Battle of Trost District" along with "104 Trainees Squad" and "The Female Titan."

However, in the upcoming season, the story line will focus on the "104 Trainees Squad." They will be fighting against the Titans who penetrated Wall Rose. This fight will take place under the guidance of Captain Erwin Smith. He will lose his arm later on and will eventually leave the squad.

The plot of the second season of 'Attack on Titan' will also feature Kevin Ackerman. He will attempt to eat and attack Eren Yaeger in his full Titan form. This will be done in order to get the Coordinate.

It will be shown later that he will eventually spit it out as the Coordinate originally belongs to the Reiss family. This family is with the royal lineage of the kingdom. It will be revealed in the latter part of the storyline that the rightful owner of the Coordinate is not Eren, but Lenz, who is the daughter of Rod Reiss.

'Attack on Titan' season 2 expected to showcase a very different storyline and plot from the first season of game. Even though the exact release date is yet to be announced, it can be assumed that the development is already underway.
