National Basketball Association trade restriction rule is about to end and many teams in the league are gearing up in the trade market to get who and what they want.

Theoretically, those trade talks could escalate as of Tuesday.

Pundits say the Rockets or any other ballclub cannot be stopped from making a trade up to this point since the unofficial beginning of trade season in the league usually starts on Dec. 15. This is the first day that players who became free agents and secured a deal in the offseason can be dealt, opening the gates for more potential trading partners for any willing franchise.

The subjects possibly being traded, Jones and Morris, are both forwards.

Jones is the 2012 NBA Draft 18th overall selected by the Houston Rockets. He played college basketball for the University of Kentucky Wildcats. Jones is averaging 10.1 points per game and grabbing 5.2 rebounds per outing.

His talent and skills were noticed over his three seasons in the league, but due to injuries and other health concerns, he missed half of the last season. This coming July, Jones will be a restricted free agent.

As for the 2011 NBA Draft 13th over-all pick Morris, he is averaging a discouraging 11.4 points and 5.2 rebounds on a 39-28-73 shooting line in 25 minutes per game this season. The New Orleans Pelicans are also reportedly expressing interest to take him.

Morris had been fined by the Suns for publicly demanding a trade during the offseason, after the franchise traded his twin brother Marcus. He secured a four-year $32 million contract with the Suns.
