'Super Smash Bros 4' News: DLC May Never Happen; Developers Struggling to Make New Non-'Smash' Franchise, Says Game Director

"Super Smash Bros. 4" is undoubtedly a game that a lot of gamers are looking forward to. This upcoming game from the popular franchise is directed by Masahiro Sakurai. The video game director behind this popular franchise made a statement that the DLCs for the game is coming to an end and the likelihood of having another "Super Smash Bros." is very slim.

The "Super Smash Bros. 4" campaign will also end soon for the two game consoles, which include the 3DS and Wii U, according to a source who claims to have learnt of this from Masahiro Sakurai.

During an interview, Sakurai revealed that the DLC of the game series is about to end soon.

Sakurai has also discussed their struggles in creating a new non "Smash Bros." game. He said that it is very difficult. The game director added that if he keeps on creating "Smash Bros" franchises, then he needs to work on compelling stuff such as Rhy. However, if ever he wants to leave, he is no longer certain if the staff could do it by themselves.
