Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad gas unveiled its latest device in China called Coolpad ivvi i Plus for the price of CNY 1999 (USD $303).

Coolpad ivvi i Plus was launched at a scheduled event in China recently under the "ivvi" flagship. The device is a successor to the Coolpad ivvi K1 Mini smartphone, which holds the title of being the slimmest smartphone in the world.

Coolpad ivvi Plus is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU. The phone features 5-inch AMOLED display screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. It comes with 3GB of RAM and a built-in 32GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card.

In terms of its design, Coolpad ivvi i Plus has a very slim body that measures 5.5 mm. However, the device cannot beat its predecessor ivvi K1 Mini, which measures 4.7 mm thin. According to Coolpad, its unique selling point (USP) is the slimness of its handheld devices. The device has an all metallic body that makes it to looks masculine and durable.

The smartphone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, which is compatible with all the 3G and LTE networks in China. Meanwhile, the company has released no word regarding the phone's battery capacity, the version of Android OS used and the camera specifications.  

The smartphone will comes in three colors; Gold, Pink and Silver. Coolpad ivvi I Plus will be retailed in the Chinese market for a price of CNY 1999 (US$ 303). Unfortunately, the Chinese company has not yet announced if this device will be available outside China.
