"Young, dumb and we don't know any better," Reggie Jackson, the 2011 NBA draft 24th overall pick, said. "That's who we are. We just continue to fight and continue to battle. We come out and try to be the best versions of ourselves."

The Pistons are on a four-game winning streak after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans. With their victory against Toronto, they are currently tied with the seventh and eight place Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls, who both have an identical 30 wins and 28 losses in the Eastern Conference team standings.

The Raptors have given Kyle Lowry a rest following a huge 43-point game performance against the East top club Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

"To be a good team in this league, you have to be able to handle success, and we just embarrassed ourselves trying to do that," Raptors head coach Dwane Casey stated. "We didn't come out with any defensive disposition. That has nothing to do with Kyle. He doesn't change anyone's defensive focus."

The first half of the game ended with both teams at 52 all. Detroit broke the deadlock and pulled away with a 37-point production in the third period while limiting the Raptors to just 20 points going in to the final quarter.

The fourth quarter proved to be more lethal for the Raptors as the Pistons were able to extend the margin to as many as 26 points 112-86 with 4:23 minutes left in the game.

Toronto's Terrence Ross and DeMar DeRozan scored 27 and 20 points respectively.
