Hassan Whiteside had a remarkable double-double game performance of 26 points and 14 rebounds along with 4 blocked shots, while Goran Dragic has his own double-double of 17 points and 11 assists.

The Heat went 52 for 77 shooting from the field, which is an impressive 67.5 percent. This is the best record since the Utah Jazz shot exactly the same on Feb. 27, 2010. No team has done better from the field since the Los Angeles Clippers hit on 69.3 percent of their shots on March 13, 1998, according to the official website of the NBA.

"The game felt effortless offensively," two-time NBA champion coach Erik Spoelstra said. "We're not calling specific play calls to say, 'OK, this is for you, you get your shot.' It's five-man basketball, guys are making the right play and if you see somebody open you follow the fundamental law of basketball and throw it to them."

With the win, Miami has improved to 34 wins and 26 losses. They are currently 19-12 at home this season and have won 6 of their last ten games played.

The Heat dominated most of the game, scoring 74 points of their total point production from the shaded area compared to the Bulls, who managed to make 48 points in the paint. Miami also won the rebound battle, outrebounding Chicago 38 to 29.

Miami closed the third period with a 13-point lead with the score at 95-82. They came out more lethal in the final quarter, stretching the lead to as many as 22 points with just 59.1 second to play.

Derrick Rose, who was out for three games due to injury, scored 17 points for the Bulls, while Pau Gasol had 15 points and Taj Gibson contributed 13 points.
