The Aston Martin DB11 has a 5.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 engine capable of outputting up to 600 horsepower. The DB11 sports a bonded aluminum platform which Aston Martin claims will make the supercar lighter and stronger compared to previous models.

The lightweight chassis also helps the DB11 to accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hours in less than four seconds. Aston Martin claims that the car has a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour.

As for its appearance, the Aston Martin DB11 takes some design cues from the prototype Aston Martin DB11 which was built exclusively for the latest James Bond movie "Spectre." Only the rims of the DB11 are perfectly identical to the one in the DB10.

In a statement acquired by USA Today, Aston Martin Americas president Laura Schwab said, "It really sort of signifies the new era for Aston Martin."

As for its price, the Aston Martin DB11 will have a price tag of about $212,000. Despite the hefty price, Aston Martin claims that the company has already received more than 1,000 advance orders from customers who got an early preview of the supercar.

According to The Verge, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer has promised to personally inspect every single one of these Aston Martin DB11s before they are sent out to customers.
