NBA Recap: Oklahoma City Thunder Smash Philadelphia 76ers, Russell Westbrook Registers 13th Triple-Double of the Season

Oklahoma City Thunder demolished the league's lowly Philadelphia 76ers with a 111-97 victory at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday night.

Russell Westbrook finished the game with an amazing triple-double production of 20 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists - making the two-time All-Star Game MVP the NBA's leader in triple-double performance.

"It's a blessing, especially to go out and have fun and get the win," Westbrook, who went 8 for 20 from the field in 32:26 minutes of playing time, said. "I think it's fun to see where we're playing the right way. It's fun for our guys to see everybody happy playing the right way."

Westbrook, who registered his 13th triple-doubles, tied Grant Hill's (1996-97) and Jason Kidd 's (2007-08) records set for the most in a season over the last 25 years.

Kevin Durant scored 26 points and grabbed 13 boards for another double-double finish and Enes Kanter added16 points for the Thunder, who pulled off a playoff spot with their 14th consecutive triumph over Philadelphia. It is the league's longest winning streak by one team over another.

Oklahoma City ended the first half of the game leading with 53-47 and stormed the 76ers with a 32-21 run in the third quarter to enter the final period with a comfortable 17-point advantage 85-68.

The Thunder protected their lead very well and limited the point production of the host team to just 29 points, while they managed to score 26 points.

Though the Thunder committed 20 turnovers, but they still got the edge in points in transition and dominated the boards 63-36 including a 16-10 advantage in offensive rebounding. Oklahoma City also ruled the shaded area during the entire 48 minutes of the game as they scored 58 points, compared to the 76ers' 36 points.

Nik Stauskas finished with 23 points and Hollis Thompson had 16 for the 76ers, who dropped to 9-60.
