Rumors are rife that Apple is set to launch another flagship phone, the iPhone 7 Plus, which will reportedly happen this coming September. The new mobile device is even expected to feature a Touch ID built into the screen.

Following Apple's most recent pattern in debuting their mobile phones, iPhone 7 Plus is expected to be unveiled this September. It noted that the iPhone 6s was introduced last September 9 and there is a possibility that the new mobile device's release date will be around the same time.

Customers can usually pre-order iPhones several days after they have been introduced. In-store selling, meanwhile, typically happens two weeks thereafter.

Given that the past two iPhone models were released bearing the same price, the said mobile device is expected to follow suit. The price range is from £539 to £699 for the 128GB model.

Meanwhile, Macworld UK reported that the upcoming iPhone 7 Plus would most likely not feature a cut-out for the Home button. Accordingly, the Home button would "appear only when needed, much like the software button" but its position remains unchanged.

The news site further explained that the Touch ID technology would be connected "to the underside of the screen at the appropriate point."

Rumors also claimed that the iPhone 7 Plus would have a curved wraparound screen that allows the device to display more screen elements sans the bigger design. As to its display, the latest reports have it that Samsung could be making the upcoming device's display.

ET News reported that the South Korean multinational conglomerate company has invested billions to purchase equipment and build new factories in order to keep up with the display orders placed by Apple for its upcoming iPhones.
