With the month of June drawing closer, fans of Apple's MacBook Pro could be itching for more rumors and updates about its 2016 version.

According to the latest news from MacWorld UK, the highly-anticipated upgraded version of the American tech giant's portable computer would have the Butterfly key mechanism among its expected specs.

It was noted that such feature was used in the keyboard of the MacBook 2015 wherein users got to enjoy the easy-to-type-on key switch.

Apart from this particular specification, it has also been theorized that the new version of the MacBook Pro would run on Skylake processors, the sixth generation chips from Intel, which will make the 2016 model a lot faster and its battery performance greatly improved, rumors claimed.

Having mentioned that, the report pointed out that the new model's battery life would be longer compared to the 10 hours battery life of the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and eight hours of the 15-inch variant.

Meanwhile, it has been seen as well that the battery performance of MacBook Pro 2016 would match that of MacBook Air's 12 hours and nine hours battery life.

Another set of exciting specs that the MacBook Pro fans have been anticipating is its GPU. Accordingly, Apple may consider introducing the new GPUs of either AMD or NVIDIA in the MacBook Pro 2016 model, rumors suggested.

However, certain reports emphasized that the possibility of AMD GPU landing on the new model of the Apple product is higher considering that it has been speculated that AMD has set aside a GPU design exclusively for Apple.

These specs would only be verified, though, once the MacBook Pro 2016 will be unveiled on its speculated release in June during the WWDC event.
