The streaming company initially revealed their plan in March, as Netflix wants to save subscribers on paying too much when they are using Netflix services. At that same time, the company revealed and confirmed that they will be releasing a data saver feature that would benefit all subscribers of their services. The move made by Netflix to introduce a data saver feature came after a numerous public complaints made in March.

Now, true to their words, Netflix new tool will be released today for iOS and Android users.

According to Netflix, the company will still continue to limit the video quality over cellular connection by default, but its subscribers can always change the setting if they wanted to stream in higher quality or lower. Subscribers just need to dig through the setting to make the necessary changes that they want.

If subscribers want to make some changes, they would just need to go to App Setting (for the latest version of Netflix app) and just tap Cellular Data Usage.

Netflix subscribers need to keep in mind though that the video quality will always go back to higher quality once they are connected to Wi-Fi.
