Obama Gives Mixed Messages On Mission Against ISIS

U.S. President Barack Obama is set to make a case to the war-weary Americans for a broader anti-ISIS strategy as the country commemorates the worst terrorism attack on U.S. soil on September 11.

President Obama's "clear objective" toward the terrorists known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was laid out this morning during a joint press conference with the president of Estonia, yet to some observers, that "clarity" may have been blurred.

At the press conference, United States President Obama stated that if the international community joins the U.S., we could essentially shrink the sphere of influence the extremist militant group currently utilizes.

The also president explains multiple ground wars that are currently and will be taking place, however, he strongly assures that the U.S. military will not be included in any of these.

Obama states, by the international community banding together they can put a damper of ISIL's "financing, military capabilities, and overall effectiveness" to a manageable degree.

With that statement, critics say the president has once again muddled his message - the terrorist's barbaric tactics not withstanding.

Just hours after the president spoke about his goal to make the extremist terrorist group a "manageable problem," the United States vice president left a very different message with reporters and the press.

"We will follow them to the gates of hell - until they are brought to justice - because hell is where they will reside", Vice President Biden passionately screamed to the press.

Shortly after, Secretary of State John Kerry addressed the press by saying they are willing to fight the "savagery and evil" once again.

So, do the president's seemingly contradictory statements reflect his ambivalence about using U.S. military force in a part of the world where he feels it can only accomplish so much?

The president's words about the terrorist group have even alarmed some of his fellow democrats.

In one message, President Obama states he is currently "coming to terms" with the threat that he recently disclaimed to New York press, and at this time does not have any strategy toward the group.

However, other statements are being made to imply that they now have a complete strategy - made by U.S. representative in the same press conference.

The Secretary of Defense believes that ISIS maybe even more dangerous than Al-Qaeda due to it's funding and actual global reach.

At this point, it is undecided whether the U.S. will be capturing or destroying different factions of these extremist group. However, according to Obama, we are working to make this a "manageable issue."
