Katy Perry, who has one of the highest number of followers on Twitter, was the latest target of hackers who gained access to her account on Monday.

The hackers sent out a series of tweets from the Roar singer's Twitter account to her 89 million followers, including one aimed at her rumored enemy Taylor Swift.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Perry retweeted Hillary Clinton's Memorial Day post, adding her own message followed by an American flag emoji. Hours later, the following tweet was posted from her account: "haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack."

The hackers then posted a string of random tweets, including an obscene message to Internet celebrity and YouTube content creator Keemstar and a peace-sign emoji.

The hackers also sent Swift an awkward message from Perry's account saying that she misses her. "Miss u baby @taylorswift13," the tweet read.

Perry and Swift apparently fell out in 2014 with reports claiming that the 26-year-old's song, Bad Blood, was inspired by her enmity with Perry and was about a fellow singer who had stabbed her in the back.

The tweets posted by the hackers have since been deleted but fans believe that the user with the Twitter handle @sw4ylol, which was just created two days ago, was behind the hack.

The first tweet on @sw4ylol's timeline reads, "Who TF is Katy Perry," while another tweet, posted hours later, included a screenshot of an email received from Soundcloud, which says that Perry's unreleased track, shared by the alleged hacker on his timeline, had been removed under a copyright claim by Universal Music Group, which reps the singer.
