Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly set to rival English Premier League squad Chelsea for the services of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

According to the Sunday Express, Les Parisiens "are eyeing up a move for the £60 million-rated Belgium international to replace Manchester United-bound Zlatan Ibrahimović".

However, the 23-year-old Belgian forward is said to be keen on going back to the Stamford Bridge next season, where he allegedly "feels he has unfinished business" after the Blues sold him to the Toffees in the summer of 2013.

Lukaku had suited up for Chelsea, his second senior career squad after Belgian Pro League's RSC Anderlecht, from 2011 to 2013, where he played two seasons and was then loaned to West Bromwich Albion in 2012-2013.

He was seldom used at the Bridge that time, appearing only in 15 games during the two seasons and scoring zero goals. He was given the opportunity for more first team action with West Brom, where he scored 17 goals in 35 English top flight matches during his single-season stint with the Baggies.

Lukaku eventually grew into one of England's best strikers when he went to Everton, scoring in double digit goals since he came. He had just finished his third season with the club, accumulating 61 goals in 127 contests in all competitions for the Toffees during the said time span.

Meanwhile, Caught Offside noted that with PSG allowing Ibrahimović to exit Parc des Princes this summer as the Swede's contract comes to an end, the French champions will need to fill the big offensive hole and Lukaku is said to be one of their options for a solution.

PSG would have to spend £60 million, Lukaku's buyout clause, if they really want to snag the 6-foot-3 Antwerp, Belgium native this summer.

Aside from Chelsea, Manchester United and Bundesliga champs Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in bidding for Lukaku in the coming transfer window.
