Rumors abound that an impending reunion between former Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau and Joakim Noah is about to take place in Minnesota as the Bulls center is reportedly "done" in Chicago.

There were speculations last week that the 31-year-old Noah allegedly had enough of his current team and would like to jump ship this summer when he becomes an unrestricted free agent.

According to rumors, the two-time NBA All-Star had been struggling with trust issues on general manager Gar Forman and that he could no longer tolerate it and so he is open to switching clubs when free-agency comes.

There were also gossips that he does not enjoy playing for new head coach Fred Hoiberg as he was benched for the first time in his career last season in favor of sophomore Nikola Mirotic.

With that premise, Fansided indicated that the Minnesota Timberwolves, particularly its current head coach Thibodeau, are "going to target signing" Noah this July as the 58-year-old mentor is allegedly planning a reunion with his former players in Minnesota.

However, the report noted that the Wolves will not snag Noah that easily as they are set to be rivaled by the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Dallas Mavericks, all of which are coveting an energetic center for next season.

Thibodeau is said to be "planning to target key veterans like Noah to help the squad become playoff contenders next season" as the current Wolves core is mostly made up of young players, such as Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ricky Rubio, and Zach LaVine, as per ESPN.

Adding Noah to the group, with the possibility of being in the starting five alongside Towns up front, would certainly make Minnesota one of the better teams in the league next season.

The Wolves could also acquire veterans through trades and there are claims that they are willing to swap the fifth overall pick of the coming NBA Draft for an established role player with playoff experience.
