Speculations abound that All-Star power forward Kevin Love could be dealt this summer if the Cleveland Cavaliers once again lose to defending champions Golden State Warriors in this year's NBA Finals.

At the moment, the Cavs are only two defeats away from a possible back-to-back runner-up finish and rumors have emerged that the Cleveland management is intending to have a major roster shake-up if that happens.

LeBron James would most likely be retained by the Eastern Conference champions next season, unless he would be the one to choose to exit, but one big-name player that is at risk of being traded if in case a debacle ensues would be the 27-year-old Love, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Mannix.

Mannix reported that "if changes are demanded this offseason, Love will be the asset pushed in trades needed to make them" as he had so far not met expectations in the Finals this year. Mannix even noted that as per one league executive, if the Cavs loses the championship, then "I'm betting on a Kevin Love auction."

Sam Smith of the NBA's official website also indicated that "you can be sure Cavs management will be wheeling and dealing (and sweating) if the Cavs lose" to Golden State in a second straight title showdown as Cleveland would be keen to replace some key parts to surround James with players that can fit him better.

The three-time NBA All-Star and 2011 Most Improved Player awardee has been lured by several teams last summer, including the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, and Phoenix Suns. Instead, he chose to sign a new five-year deal with the Cavs worth $113.2 million and now he is trying to show the organization that he is worth every penny of it.

His recent concussion protocol inclusion after getting hit in the head by a wayward elbow from Warriors small forward Harrison Barnes will definitely not help him prove his value to LeBron's championship dreams for Cleveland.

If he does not get to play a single game in the Finals again, whether the Cavs win or not, then they may indeed put him on the trading block this summer.
