France will take on Switzerland in a Group A match at the ongoing UEFA European Championships 2016 at Stade Peirre Mauroy in French city of Lille on Sunday. Romania will face Albania in Sunday's other Group A encounter that begins at the same time in Stade de Lyon.

France became the first side to reach the knockout stage of the tournament after they beat Albania 2-0 this. The host took a lead in the 90th minute after Antoine Griezmann headed a goal in. Dimitri Payet's grabbed a stoppage-time goal to secure the second consecutive win for France in the tournament.

"The players have a lot of heart. We did not start flat out and we didn't have too much success, but we had some luck," French boss Didier Deschamps said after the Albania win. "We have six points and we have already qualified. The final game remains critical, but it's a very good thing. We had to take the advantage and make ourselves safe."

Switzerland also has good chances of qualifying for the knock out stage. They defeated Albania in their Euro 2016 opener last week and secured a draw against Romania in their second group stage match on Wednesday. The Swiss team now needs to either win or draw against France to finish second in their group and secure a place in the round of 16.
