A wild three-way trade scenario has been currently circulating online involving the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Phoenix Suns as the 2016 NBA Finals is headed to its conclusion and the wheeling and dealing of the offseason is about to begin.

The hypothetical trade is allegedly set to go down this way: Brandon Knight, Alex Len, PJ Tucker, Archie Goodwin, and the no. 4 and 13 picks go to New York; Carmelo Anthony, Robin Lopez, and Eric Bledsoe go to Cleveland; and Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Mo Williams, and Sasha Kaun go to Phoenix, according to NJ Advance Media's Joe Giglio.

While the deal is legit in terms of the salaries and other league rules, it also actually makes sense in a lot of levels for all of the clubs involved.

Giglio noted that "while the Cavaliers would probably consider a straight swap of Love for Anthony, it's going to be hard to justify moving Irving" because of the Team USA point guard's recent notable performances in the Finals.

New York, however, is allegedly nearing a breakup with Anthony and the nine-time All-Star may only be surrendering his no-trade clause if he is being sent to a team with LeBron James on it.

For the Knicks side, having Kristaps Porzingis surrounded by those kinds of talented young players - two draft picks next week - "would totally change the trajectory of the franchise", the report said.

As for the Suns, the immediate impact is quite obvious as they would instantly become a dark horse squad in the Western Conference next season.

Meanwhile, the New York Daily News' Frank Isola indicated that Anthony may be LeBron's "missing piece" to finally win a title for the city of Cleveland.

Isola said that "if and when the Cavs lose (the Finals against the Warriors) they will be primed for another roster shake-up," which is said to be not a "complete overhaul" but a few deals here and there to further smoothen their lineup to better complement James.

With Melo, LeBron will have a legitimate second superstar with him much like his Miami Heat days with Dwyane Wade.

It remains to be seen, though, especially after the King just extended the Finals to a seventh game on Sunday following their Thursday night's 115-101 Game 6 win.
