What are the differences between the Xiaomi Redmi 1S and the Nokia Lumia 730?

For those interested, here's a comparison of the Xiami Redmi 1S specs and the Nokia Lumia 730 specifications. Which one is better?

Both smartphones are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Cortex-A7 processor with 1 GB or RAM.

The Lumia 730 is clocked at 1.2 GHz while the Redmi 1S is clocked at 1.6 GHz.

The Nokia handset runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS while the Xiaomi one runs on Android OS 4.3 Jelly Bean along with MIUI v5. Both smartphones have 8 GB expandable internal memory capacity.

Both the Redmi 1S and Lumia 730 have 4.7-inch displays with 720 x 1280 screen resolution and 312 ppi.

The Lumia 730 is said to be 134.7 mm in height and 68.5 mm in width but there isn't any information as to what material its body will be made of.

Based on the Lumia 630, which comes in plastic with vivid colors, the successor may also be similar. Meanwhile, the Redmi 1S measures 137 x 69 x 9.9 mm and weighs 158 grams with a matte rear panel.

The Redmi 1S features an 8 megapixel back camera with LED flash, auto focus, touch focus, HDR, smile detection and geo tagging.

It has 1080p @ 30 fps video recording capability while its front camera comes at 1.6 MP.

On the other hand, the Lumia 730 will sport a 6.7 MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens and 5 MP front camera. 

Both handsets have Li-Ion 2000mAh batteries while the Redmi 1S battery is replaceable. The Redmi 1S costs US$160 while the Lumia 730 is said to cost US$240.
