Former NBA Player Manny Harris Named Player of the Week Award in Round 25 of China's NBL

Former NBA player Manny Harris of Anhui Wenyi had an amazing double-double performance in the 25th round of China's professional minor basketball league earning him the right to be once again named Asia-Basket.com NBL Player of the Week.

The 26-year-old American swingman showed off a very impressive performance by scoring 44 huge points and grabbing down 10 boards. Harris led the Wei Dong Hu-headed team to victory against Luoyang with a 112-92 triumph while shooting 62.5 percent from the two-point range.

According to Asia-Basket report, Harris is the third leading scorer in the NBL, having an average of 37.0 points per game.  He is the league's third-best in steals, registering 3.5 steals per game with a steady 58.6 percent shooting accuracy from the field.

Harris has turned out to be the Chinese club's top player with his very imposing stats this season. The 6-foot-5 tall native of Detroit had guided Anhui to an impressive 22-3 win-loss record. The team seats on the second spot on the league table.

 Harris has played nine official matches with the Los Angeles Lakers in the league's 2013-14 season, registering an average of 8.1 points and 3.8 boards in 20 minutes of playing per game.

Harris has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010 to 2012 for a total of 80 official games. He also played for the Texas Legends, Canton Charge, and Los Angeles D-Fenders in the NBA Developmental League.
