Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) side Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings has reportedly signed up former NBA first-round pick Jared Cunningham to play for the team.

According to Asia-Basket, the 25-year-old product of the Oregon State Beavers, who will be playing for the first time in the Chinese league, played most recently with the Eastern Conference Central Division team Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA.  Cunningham appeared in four official matches with the Bucks while averaging 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes of playing time in the league's last season.

The native of Oakland, California also had a stint with the eventual 2015-16 NBA champions Cleveland Cavaliers in the same season, playing 40 official games while averaging 2.6 points in 8.9 minutes per contest before being traded to Orlando Magic in February.

Cunningham is the 2012 NBA Draft 24th overall pick selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, his draft rights were traded with Bernard James and Jae Crowder to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Kelenna Azubuike and Tyler Zeller on draft night.

In his rookie season with the Mavericks, Cunningham only played eight official matches for the Mark Cuban-owned team, having a limited playing time of 3.2 minutes while averaging 2.0 points per outing.

He was later traded to the Atlanta Hawks in June 2013 before being waived by the team in February 2014.  Cunningham signed a 10-day contract with the Sacramento Kings in March 2014 and was able to remain with the Kings for the rest of the 2013-14 season while averaging 3.0 points in eight games.

The former NBA journeyman previously also played for the Los Angeles Clippers as well as with the Texas Legends, Bakersfield Jam, Delaware 87ers and Idaho Stampede in the NBA D-League.
