China's Smartphone Usage Will Reach 1.4 Billion Units in 2020: Report

Market research firm Canalys has anticipated that the number of smartphones in China will reach over 1.4 billion units by the year 2020, surpassing the number of smartphones in the United States in the same year, a number which is predicted to reach 332 million.

Xiaomi has regained its top spot in the Chinese smartphone market in the second quarter of 2015, outselling Huawei and Apple, according to a Canalys market survey.
