Higher Cigarette Taxes May Mean Lower Suicide Rates

A new study by Washington University suggests that the chemicals in cigarettes may increase the risk of suicide. Therefore, with high cigarette taxes discouraging people from purchasing tobacco, suicide rates may decrease.
