After being down 0-2, Team Australia is on to the semifinals of the Davis Cup after Lleyton Hewitt defeated Aleksandr Nedovyesov of Kazakhstan with the score of 7-6(2), 6-2, 6-3. The tour veteran needed two hours and two minutes to topple the 28-year-old in straight sets, extending his singles rubbers match record to 42-14.
