Unbeaten welterweight titlist Keith Thurman may have failed to forced Floyd Mayweather to accept his challenge with a less-than-exlposive knockout win over Luis Collazo, Saturday at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. Hyped as the sport's "next big thing" Thurman (26-0, 22 KOs), although he exhibited a well-rounded skill set, didn't pack enough ammunition to make it a comelling fight for Mayweather.

American pugilist Keith Thurman called out Floyd Mayweather Jr. immediately after retaining his WBA welterweight belt on July 11 via an 8th round TKO victory over former welterweight champ Luis Collazo at the USF Sundome in Florida.
