Apple surprised many in the tech community when the company decided to equip its latest flagship device, the iPhone 7, with an LCD screen despite the fact that many major smartphone makers are starting to adopt the newer and more efficient OLED technology. Despite this, rumors claimed that Cupertino is now working on its own OLED technology which will most likely debut with the iPhone 8.
