Obama Hearts Katy Perry; Katy Brings Republican Mom to White House

Katy Perry recently performed in a White House event celebrating the 46th Special Olympics and honoring its founder Eunice Shriver, accomplished Peabody winner and mom to Maria Shriver. Less than two years after the 29-year old pop star refused to bring her ultra-conservative Republican parents to Obama's 2012 inauguration, Perry finally brought her mom Mary to the White House so she could see her sing.
