A group of Tianjin real estate companies are said to be making plans to buy the damaged residential homes affected by the Tianjin port blast from their owners. The realtors will then sell them again after making the necessary repairs, according to a report on Tuesday.

Chinese authorities on Monday confirmed that the number of deaths from the Tianjin explosion has now reached 114 while around 70 persons are still unaccounted for. Meanwhile, residents of nearby apartment complexes have staged a rally demanding compensation from the government for the damages of their homes.
