The Toronto Raptors are rumored to be targeting Greg Monroe, Nerlens Noel, or Zach Randolph to shore up their frontline this season.

Toronto lost big man Bismack Biyombo this summer after he decided to join the Orlando Magic on a four-year, $72 million contract. Biyombo's exit created a huge hole in the team's power forward, and center spots as Jonas Valanciunas are the only starting caliber player in the said positions.

The Raptors tried to fill in the gap by acquiring free agent power forward Jared Sullinger in July, but the former Boston Celtic was ruled out before the start of the new season with a foot injury suffered in a preseason game against the Golden State Warriors.

With Sullinger expected to be sidelined for two to three months, head coach Dwane Casey is getting by with the power forward rotation of veteran Patrick Patterson and rookie Pascal Siakam.

In light of Toronto's current deficiency, rumors have emerged that the club is seeking a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Memphis Grizzlies for Monroe, Noel, and Randolph. Any of these three players is said to be okay with the Raptors management as they aim to maintain their current status as Eastern Conference finalists alongside the reigning champions Cleveland Cavaliers, according to the Inquisitr.

Monroe, 26, has been coming off the bench for the Bucks this season and has so far thrived in his new role, averaging 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 22.0 minutes per game. It was a big drop from the 29.3 minutes per game that he played last season where he averaged 15.3 points, 8.8 boards, and 2.3 assists.

There are rumors that the former Georgetown standout might ask for a trade in midseason as he seeks to get back to his usual starting role in another team. Monroe could get what he wants in Toronto.

Meanwhile, Noel is another big man that is frequently mentioned in the rumor mill these days. The former Kentucky Wildcat is in a center logjam with Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid in Philadelphia, and he recently told reporters that he was "open" to be traded.

Sportsrageous reported that Grizzlies veteran Zach Randolph is also being considered by the Raptors to form a possible Big Three with Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan.
