There have been a lot of leaked images and information about the Nexus 6 lately, and while reports hint that it will have power features and killer specs, specific release dates are still elusive. However, Android enthusiasts may not have to wait for the Nexus 5 successor to feel pure Android experience. Looks like Google plans to turn all Android smartphones to function like the upcoming Nexus 6.

According to reports, all devices from LG, Samsung, Sony, Lenovo and HTC will need to build tablets and handsets which will feature Android's native powers. Google makes it possible for the new set of Android mobile phones to be an alternative while customers await the Nexus 6.

Google now requires OEMs to highlight Google Search functions for a more Nexus-like interface. The phrase "Powered by Android" will also greet the users regularly each time they boot up and down their devices. Manufacturers are allowed to put branded applications in their devices but a lot of these are Google app duplicates such as Gmail and Chrome. Google now reserves space for pure Android applications and 20 Google apps are reportedly preloaded in new Android devices.

Device vendors are also required to activate the "OK Google" hot word so that Google Search will be highlighted in all Android devices. Google voice search will be a default setting like Google Play Edition and Nexus smartphones. The applications will also be seen at the Home screen and though this feature is not optional, folders are allowed to organize the apps on the Home screen.

The Nexus 6 could be release in October or November 2014 with the Nexus 8 or Nexus 9 and Android 5.0 L.
