Rapper Nicki Minaj generated a lot of hate and criticism over the weekend after debuting her "Only" music video which featured some Nazi-inspired images.

In the said black-and-white animated music video, Minaj is shown as a powerful dictator who leads an army of soldiers carrying guns and driving tanks. The only colored element in the video is the red insignia "YM", which stands for the star's record company Young Money, which Minaj and her minions wear around their arms.

Within seconds of the video being uploaded on YouTube, viewers pointed out the obvious Nazi imagery in the video, which appears throughout the video. Many have inferred that Minaj is glorifying Nazism in the video.

Ironically, Drake, one of Minaj's collaborators for the single is half-Jewish.

Aside from Drake, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne also collaborated on the said single. Lil Wayne is the owner of Young Money.

Despite fans calling out to the performer to address the issue, Minaj, who had earlier performed at the MTV Europe Music Awards, has not yet commented or apologized regarding the imagery in the video.

Twitter user @bigmacher, took to social media to post, "Nicki Minaj sampled Nazi imagery for her 'Only' lyric video. Kudos Nicki u figured out a way to get people not to focus on ur crappy lyrics."

@ PleasantThinker, another critic of the rapper's tweeted, "Everyone's disgusted by Nazi imagery in Nicki Minaj's music video, well I'm ahead of the curve. I've been disgusted by Nicki Minaj for years."

Although Minaj has yet to reply to the controversy, Jeff Osborne, the director of the music video, has since been retweeting and favoriting negative comments about the music video, as if to mock those who dislike the message and imagery of the video.

"Only" is the third single of Minaj's new album, "The Pinkprint".
