This weekend, Marvel unveiled a teaser for one of their most anticipated superhero offerings for 2015--Ant-man. The trailer however, seems to have been made specifically for Pym sized movie-goers, with the studio teasing the teaser to the film on a screen viewable only by ants.

Turns out fans didn't have to wait too long before the first human sized trailer for the film was released. Today, Marvel released a viewable teaser to pave the way for the full trailer that is set to drop on January 6th, Tuesday, during the premiere of Agent Carter.

The big screen adaptation of the popular comic book from Marvel is the brilliant scientists Hank Pym and Scott Lang, who invents a substance that allows him to change his size. Edgar Wright, best known for his cult comedies including Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz pens the script with Joe Cornish. Wright was first attached to the film as director, but allegedly left due to creative differences with the studio. His departure from the project was announced in May 2014.

In December of 2013, Paul Rudd was announced to have landed the role of Ant-Man, following an announcement that Michael Douglas would be playing Hank Pym. In the middle of 2014, after Wright's departure from the project, Marvel announced that Peyton Reed would now direct the film; a surprising decision given that Reed's film work is composed of teen movie, Bring It On and comedy, Yes Man.

Nevertheless, Marvel's surprising directorial choices seems to have worked for previous projects. Case in point, Captain America: The Winter Soldier's massive success under the direction of brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, best known for their hit show, Community.
