'StarCraft 2: Legacy Of The Void' Release Date Set on June 2015 Rumored; New Game Trailer, Patch Notes Revealed Online [VIDEO]

Good news gaming enthusiasts as new updates for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of The Void" have been revealed, in regard to a new trailer, patch updates and a rumored release date.

Polygon reported that a new trailer for "StarCraft 2: Legacy of The Void" began streaming online, which features a new Terran war unit called "The Liberator." Blizzard described the Liberator as a large high-cost unit that gives splash damages to several enemy units - whether it be land or air units. The unit can be made in the Terran Starport.

David Kim, Senior Game Designer for "Legacy of The Void" wrote on Battle.net that the appearance of the the Liberator to the Starport will give players a more diverse strategies for the Terran army, and make it more a rounded unit just like the Banshee and the Battlecruiser.

KDramaStars previously reported several new units for Terran, Protoss and the Zerg units that will make an appearnace during the game's beta test program.

The Terran will have the the Herc and Cyclone units, while new upgrades were revealed such the Siege Tank moving in Siege mode, and a teleport ability for the Battlecruiser. The Zerg will have the Ravager as well as returning units like the Infestor, Lurkers and Corruptors. Lastly, the Protoss will have the Disruptor, and upgrades for units such as the Immortals and Protoss Carriers.

Aside from the new trailer, there are also new patch upgrades for the game's Beta program. Segment Next reported that the Starport will be divided into Mech air and ground upgrades, to which players will have more choices and strategies, specifically for those who are using Terran units.

All three playable races will undergo "clean-up" for sub-group priorities in their respective structures. There is an increased amount of Geyser by 2000 and the requirements for the missile turret build have been brought back to the engineering bay.

The Tunneling Claws have been brought back to the Zerg burrows as Blizzard decided to retain the speed buff of the Roaches.

Lastly, there are rumors making rounds that the lauch date of the actual game has been revealed online.

The Latino Post reportedly claimed that "StarCraft 2: Legacy of The Void" will be out within the timelines of April to June this year; however, Venture Capital Post reported that Blizzard will be announcing its line-up of games in this year's Gamecon on August 5-9, and that the company will likely announce the game's official release date on the said event.
