Last season's NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray is reportedly in good terms with Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback hopeful Tim Tebow after spending the summer trainings and organized team activities with the former Denver Bronco.

The ex-Dallas Cowboy, who signed a five-year, $42 million deal with the Eagles last March, only had praises for Tebow when asked about how he finds his fellow 27-year-old's game.

For The Win reported that Murray described Tebow as a "good player". He also said that the former Florida Gator is a "very hardworking guy" and that he attends trainings and practices "every day ready to compete, and that's what you can expect from him."

Head coach Chip Kelly had been insistent on interviews that Tebow already improved a lot under his care especially when it comes to his passing and reading plays, and the two-time Pro Bowler's recent remarks apparently supports that claim.

Murray also has something to say about his relationship with his new coach, via Sporting News.

"Chip's a good guy," he said. "He's a very smart guy. I'm looking to improve my relationship with him."

If the 2014 AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award winner's words are precise, then Tebow fans should expect their favorite to make the final roster come September. It should also be an advantage for the team knowing that their top running back is all-in with the coach for the possible decision on who will take the third-string signal caller spot.

Both Murray and Tebow had made headlines this offseason while being involved in separate controversial stories with regards to their style of play.

Murray was dragged in a jab by Cowboys' running back Joseph Randle, who said that he "left a lot of meat on the bone" despite leading the league in rushes last year. Murray responded with a classy "hope you can taste some of that meat this year," as reported by SB Nation, which can be deemed as the equivalent of blessing Randle as the new Dallas starter in their position.

Meanwhile, Tebow continues to receive bad press and reactions from fans despite of the good reports from his coaches and teammates. Some have alluded that this "disdain" for Tebow is due to him being outspoken of his religious faith rather than because of his actual play on the field.
