As the summer free agency period unwinds, former Los Angeles Clippers power forward Glen Davis is still a free agent and it seems like no team is currently interested in getting the services of the 6-foot-9, 289-pound wrecking ball.

With that, Davis said that he would be open to playing out of the United States this coming season if there are any offers to play probably in Europe or in China, as per Fox Sports.

There are reports that the Clips still has one spot left on its roster and head coach Doc Rivers could readily bring "Big Baby" back, but there were no signs of that happening as of yet even while contract negotiations between the two camps are currently taking place.

Sportando indicated that the former LSU standout is "open to playing overseas" if he is unable to secure a deal with the Clippers or land any offers from other NBA teams. The report also said that Davis is more likely to "join the Chinese League or one of the European top divisions" this coming season if all discussions are unfruitful.

The eight-year veteran had played for the Clippers since 2013-2014, most of the time coming off the bench to spell superstar big men Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan up front.

Last season, Davis averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in just a little over 12 minutes per game and have not really been utilized by Rivers, who was his coach during his Boston Celtics playing days from his rookie year to 2011.

Davis was a second-round pick, 35th overall, in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics. He was right then traded to the Boston Celtics in a deal that included Ray Allen in exchange for Wally Szczerbiak, Delonte West, and 2007 5th overall pick Jeff Green.

Bleacher Report said that Davis being overlooked in the current free agency period is quite "odd" because of the fact that there are no negative issues regarding the Louisiana native. His health is intact, he plays effectively when given the opportunity, and his attitude on and off the court is superb.

The Clips may simply no longer have a need for Davis after they managed to snag Josh Smith from the market. Smith is expected to backup Griffin, which was Davis' primary role before.
