The 19^th season of Dancing with the Stars is set to return on September 15^th. In the meantime, the show has released information on the pros (12 in total) cast for this upcoming season.

As far as pros go, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Cheryl Burke, and Derek Hough are ready to take on the new season.

While Valentin will be returning, the season 18 Dancing with the Stars champion older brother, Maksim, will not be making an appearance. Despite Maksim's absence, fans are already anticipating the excitement that Valentin will bring to the show's new season.

Last season, Valentin had been paired with actress and author, Danica McKellar but was eliminated in Week 8, when the two won 6^th place..

Viewers are also getting excited over the return of Cheryl, the already two-time champion.

Cheryl had been eliminated from last season during Week 6, when she had been paired with comedian, Drew Carey. The couple had been eliminated after they had won 8^th place--ironically enough , the exact opposite of what happened to Valentin and Danica.

The peak of fan excitement, though, is centered around the return of Derek Hough. Over the past few seasons, Derek has managed to win first place an incredible five times--just not last season.

Derek had been on a winning streak from season 16, when he had been partnered with country star and former American Idol contestant, Kellie Pickler. However, Derek's luck ran out last season, when he had won second place with Amy Purdy.

Appearing alongside the three will be Karina Smirnoff, Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani, Emma Slater, Peta Murgatroyd, and Witney Carson.

Also appearing will be Artem Chigvintsev, who won the UK Dancing with the Stars last season. Emmy-nominated choreographer, Allison Holker is also set to join along with South African newcomer, Keoikantse Motsepe.

ABC will be announcing the celebrity participants on September 4^th on GMA.
