The first quarter of 2016 was not very good for tech giant Apple Inc., at least in terms of sales. The company charter the first negative-growth period for their most popular gadget lines earlier this year. Apple's abysmal sale is the first time the company has experience negative growth in more than a decade. According to analysts, this decrease in profits can be attributed to the fact that Apple did not release any new device nor did the company lower the price points of their existing laptops, tablets and handsets.

Fortunately, it seems like Apple is gearing up to unveil its latest offerings specifically the MacBook Pro 2016. According to reports, next month would not end without the big Apple laptop reveal.

Release Date

Mac World recently published a report claiming that the new MacBook Pro 2016 would be unveiled during Apple's upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference to be held on June 13. Historically, the event was the venue for Apple's most exciting announcement, so the reveal of the newest Apple laptop during the occasion would not be completely unfounded.

Specifications

According to IBTimes, it is likely that Apple would release two versions of their laptop, a 13inch and 15inch MacBook Pro 2016, come June 2016. The company opted to release two models of the Pro in 2015, and it seems like the trend would extend to the upcoming device line.

Moreover, the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be powered by the latest generation Skylake processors. These processors would enable the laptop to perform better and to have a longer battery life. The Apple device is speculated to be equipped with a touch sensitive keyboard instead of physical keys.  It is also rumored to possess a USB-C Port and would be equipped with the latest AMD and NVIDIA GPU.

Pricing

The most affordable Retina MacBook Pro is priced at almost $1500. The 15inch model with 2.5 GHz, the most expensive of the laptop line, sells for twice the cheapest MacBook Pro. It is expected the MacBook Pro 2016 would have similar price points as the Apple laptops currently available for purchase.
