Sinking teams Hangzhou Greentown FC (5-10-4, 19 points) and Tianjin Teda FC (5-6-7, 22 points) are scheduled to square off in a 2016 Chinese Super League season game at the Jinhua Sports Center this Saturday, July 23.

Hangzhou Greentown is currently at the 14th spot of the league table, four points above the bottom two relegation zone and only a point below 13th-placed team Shandong Luneng Taishan FC, after going on a two-game winless skid.

The Green Giants actually went on a three-game winning streak to climb out of the demotion area before their recent winless spell.

Their last game was a crushing 1-4 defeat in the hands of surging squad Shandong Luneng at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Wednesday, the Daily Echo reported.

Taishan Dui scored the first four goals of the contest inside regulation time before Hangzhou's Croatian import Sammir netted their lone goal in injury time to avoid a shutout.

It was the first loss of head coach Hong Myung-bo's squad in their last five outings after holding Shijiazhuang Ever Bright to a goalless draw in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Tianjin Teda is on a downward spiral, being winless in their last six assignments. They are presently at ninth place in the overall standings, seven points above the bottom two spots.

The Tianjin Tigers should have had a match on Wednesday against cellar-dwellers Changchun Yatai, but it was postponed until further notice.

Their most recent CSL fixture ended in a heartbreaking 2-3 loss to Guangzhou R&F at the Yuexiushan Stadium last Saturday, as per Sofa Score.

Head coach Dragan Okuka's side opened the scoring at the seventh minute via a penalty kick from Fredy Montero, but the hosts scored the next two goals to move up 2-1.

Senegalese striker Mbaye Diagne equalized it in the first half stoppage time, but newly-acquired Guangzhou forward Eran Zahavi scored his second goal of the night with only a minute left before full time to snatch the win away from Tianjin.

The predicted result is a close 1-0 win for Hangzhou Greentown.
