While the Jennifer Lawrence-starrer The Hunger Games: Mockingjay--Part 1 is the highest-grossing movie in America, the film, though did not stand a chance with Transformer: Age of Extinction, which enjoyed a whopping $1.084 billion in worldwide ticket sales, making it 2014's most successful film.
