‘1984’ Is Fake; Katy Perry Says Song Is Not About Taylor Swift

Rumors of Katy Perry allegedly creating a new song as a form of revenge to Taylor Swift started circulating on June 8. A blogger noticed on BMI’s registration Web site that a song called “1984” has appeared and that the artist was none other than the “Dark Horse” hit maker.
